Leicestershire County Council's Adults and Communities department provides a wide range of advice and support.

  • Adapting your home

    An adaptation is a change to a person’s home which makes it easier to live in. Adult Social Care Services currently arrange adaptations to the homes of older and disabled people.
    Examples of adaptations may include:
    grab rails or banisters
    stair lifts
    level-access showers
    ramps
    widened doors

  • Community Meals Service

    Leicestershire County Council provides meals to people who have been assessed as needing this support. A meal is delivered to people's home on the days that have been agreed. The meals are nutritious and can cater for specific dietary needs

  • Further Social Care Services

    An A-Z list of services provided by Leicestershire County Council Adults & Communities Department.
