Braunstone Town Watchers will be holding their quarterly meeting on Monday 11th August at 7.30pm Council Chamber, Civic Centre, Braunstone Town LE2 2PP
Guest speaker is Sgt. Greg Walker [Neighbourhood Sgt] on the subject of Neighbourhood Policing In Braunstone Town.
LPU commander - Inspector Mark Chell
Inspector Mark Chell joined Leicestershire Constabulary in 1987 and started his career at Coalville.
He was promoted to Sergeant in 1993 and has had a number of different roles working with communities in the city and county. He has experience in enforcement, crime prevention and more recently was involved in the neighbourhood policing project, helping Leicestershire Constabulary to achieve an excellent grading in this area.
Mark has a broad range of experience which will benefit policing the communities in Blaby District. He comes to Blaby on promotion to Inspector and looks forward to continuing the excellent work accomplished by Inspector Jim Holyoak.
