I am delighted to be the new commander for the Hinckley local Policing Unit.
I have spent the previous 18 months as a detective Inspector on the South Area and I have also worked a Detective Sergeant and intelligence coordinator, amongst other roles, so I already have a good knowledge of the criminals operating in the borough.
There have been some tremendous achievements for the Hinckley LPU during the previous 18 months, such as the awarding of Beacon Status and the reduction in crime. I am only too aware of the need to keep improving and I am committed to developing this good work and building upon this success to reduce crime even further and bring more offenders to justice.
I want to provide a Policing service that is responsive to the needs of the local community and one that actually makes a difference.
