Welford Road local policing unit comprises a largely residential area covering the Saffron Lane, Eyres Monsell, Aylestone, Clarenden Park, Stoneygate and Knighton areas of Leicester.
The key issues from a policing perspective are to continue to reduce the number of offences of burglary committed within the LPU, reduce vehicle related crime and to tackle anti-social behaviour.
