- New Inspector for Rutland
A new Inspector is taking over the reins at Oakham police station.
Inspector Sarah Cox, who's 34, will become the new Commander of Oakham local policing unit (LPU) from Tuesday 10 April 2007. She replaces Inspector Adam Streets, who has headed the police in Rutland for two years and is moving to Force Headquarters to work in Corporate Development.
Inspector Cox joined Leicestershire Constabulary in May 1995 after completing a degree in Economics at Leicester Polytechnic.
